Dynamic Render Distance
Huge quality of life update!

Vanilla Haven's default View Distance has been increased from 9 chunks to 16 chunks and the default simulation distance has been increased to 9 chunks.

A​ll mob spawn rates and caps have also been increased to the vanilla settings.

As the server begins to struggle keeping up, the server will automatically reduce the render distance and mob spawn caps/rates in order to combat lag.

Once the values have been reduced, if the server performs at 20 ticks per second for 15 minutes, it will attempt to slightly increase the values. If the server begins to lag again, everything will be lowered once more. Otherwise, the values will continue to increase until they reach the default settings again.
Storage Optimization Compromise

Vanilla Haven's world was growing into a rather unpreferable size, therefore we had to make a compromise.

All world regions that have not had a chunk loaded for at least ten minutes will be reset weekly in order to keep the world folder size manageable.
